Health & Comfort Program

The DVNF Health & Comfort Program expands DVNF’s reach into veteran communities throughout the United States, bringing tangible aid to veterans who are disabled, low-income, or homeless, in ways we otherwise could not.

By leveraging the in-kind support of individuals and corporate supporters, DVNF provides vital necessities like water, clothing, and health and hygiene items to veterans of all walks of life. Whether it’s a year-round homeless shelter or veteran stand down event, or an outreach event like the Warrior Games, DVNF is there to make a positive impact on the lives of the men and women who stood in defense of our nation.

In order to be considered for the Health and Comfort Program, candidates must fill out an application and submit the following:

  • Completed Health and Comfort Application
  • Program Narrative (limit 3 pages)
  • Financial Information

Candidates must follow all instructions and include everything that is requested in the application before submitting. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Please note that your organization should be equipped to unload, handle, and store up to 24 pallets worth of goods.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, however, if your organization is in need of these supplies, it is important to submit an application as soon as possible so DVNF can coordinate the shipment.

The types of donated goods we receive vary, so please be aware that there may be limited quantities of certain types of items, but we strive to grant every request for goods as closely as we can.

Please note that these applications are accepted on a case-by-case basis and funding is limited, so we can only approve as much as our budget allows. Please review our policy before submitting an application.

How to apply:

1. New Organization Registration:

2. Log-in with unique username and password to access the Letter of Intent. Use link in Bulletin or Navigation Menu (Application Access) to start grant and complete forms.
