Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) to Host Event on Thursday, April 14 at the Detroit Golf Club
DETROIT, MICH. (MARCH 14, 2016) – The Disabled Veterans National Foundation proudly announced today it will host a fundraising gala featuring war hero, author and inspirational speaker Sal Giunta, the first living Medal of Honor recipient since the Vietnam War. The event will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 5:30 until 10 p.m. at the Detroit Golf Club, 17911 Hamilton Road, Detroit, MI 48203. The event, sponsored by xxxxx, includes dinner and a Detroit-artist auction that will benefit the more than 5,000 homeless veterans throughout Michigan.
DVNF was founded in 2007 as a community-based, non-profit focused on helping former military members in need and raising awareness of veterans’ issues such as increasing suicide, unemployment and homelessness rates.
