Support Corporal Stephen Carson in the 2025 Marine Corps Marathon

Raising Funds for the Veterans Food Assistance Program (VFAP)

My name is Corporal Stephen Carson, and I proudly serve as a KC-130J Loadmaster in the United States Marine Corps. On October 26, 2025, I will be running the Marine Corps Marathon to honor the brave men and women who continue to face daily challenges after serving our country.

Running for a Purpose Greater Than Myself

Every mile I run is dedicated to the disabled and at-risk veterans who live with the lasting wounds of war—seen and unseen.

To support these heroes, I’ve partnered with the Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) to raise funds for their Veterans Food Assistance Program (VFAP).

Why I Chose VFAP

Far too many veterans are struggling with food insecurity across the nation. The Veterans Food Assistance Program was created to ensure that no veteran goes hungry. It provides essential groceries and household necessities to disabled and at-risk veterans—delivered directly to their homes with dignity and respect.

DVNF utilizes modern delivery methods, including the online grocery platform of Walmart, to ensure efficient and quality service to those who need it most.
This program meets veterans where they are—bringing relief, hope, and stability to those who have sacrificed so much.

Can you sponsor just $1 per mile? That's only $26 (26 miles)

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support this effort. Whether it’s $26 (a dollar per mile) or any amount meaningful to you, your support sends a powerful message: our veterans are never forgotten.
My goal is to raise $10,000 for the VFAP. Every dollar will make a direct impact in helping veterans keep food on the table and live with the honor they’ve earned.

Your donation will help:

  • Deliver groceries directly to veterans in need
  • Provide household essentials and food security
  • Restore dignity through immediate, personal support
