DVNF Honors America’s Finest At The 2026 Warrior Games (13th – 20th June)

July 26, 2026

The Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) was proud to support the 2026 Warrior Games in San Antonio, where nearly 200 wounded, ill, and injured service members came together to showcase the strength of recovery through adaptive sports.

Representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Forces, these remarkable athletes competed with determination and resilience. While the competition was fierce, the true victory was found in the courage, camaraderie, and perseverance displayed by every participant.

Representing DVNF was John Paruch, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, who had the privilege of meeting many of these inspiring warriors.

As a small token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice, DVNF presented each athlete with a $25 Visa gift card to help make their time in San Antonio even more enjoyable.

The support of families, volunteers, and sponsors helped make the Games a memorable celebration of healing and achievement. Events like the Warrior Games remind us that recovery is strengthened through community, encouragement, and opportunity.

We are helping to rebuild lives, and through our relationships with innovative organizations around the country, we are changing the way we approach giving back to veterans.
