The Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) proudly hosted its 7th annual Veterans Resource Fair at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Silver Spring, MD. This event brought together more than 500 veterans and their families for a day dedicated to care, community, and support. The event continues to grow in impact every year, offering vital resources that strengthen the well-being of disabled and at-risk veterans across the region.
This year’s Resource Fair featured more than 80 participating vendors and sponsors, each committed to meeting the diverse needs of veterans. Attendees received a wide range of free items, including brand-new work attire, Comfort Kits, food, gift cards, raffle prizes, and more. They also benefited from an array of free services such as medical and dental care, haircuts, basic manicures, and makeup application. Employment assistance, housing resources, and financial guidance were available onsite, ensuring that participants could access holistic, individualized support. Comfort Kits were packed by volunteers at the American Dental Association Foundation’s SmileCon event in D.C. just a few weeks prior.
