DVNF had the privilege of attending the 27th Fairbanks Veterans Stand Down in Alaska, a profoundly uplifting experience that offered various services, including medical, dental, employment, legal, and ongoing door prizes throughout the event.
We connected with veterans by handing out swag items and gift cards that brought them joy. It was inspiring to interact with them, share information about our programs, and build meaningful relationships.. Listening to their remarkable stories from military service and the challenges they overcame left a lasting impact. We left that day enriched by stories, friendships, and a deep sense of purpose.
